Mr Producer scores a hat trick at the National Eisteddfod 2008
Mr Producer scored a hat trick at this year's National Eisteddfod of Wales, held in Cardiff, producing three major gala concerts - Tri10, Grav - Yma o Hyd and C Ffactor which were all staged by Stifyn Parri.
The opening concert ‘Tri10' celebrated 30 years of Welsh medium education in Cardiff and the birthdays of two of the city's secondary schools - Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf which was established after the National Eisteddfod visited Cardiff in 1978 and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr which opened its doors in 1998. The concert was televised live on S4/C and included performances from an array of former pupils, including Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens with special on-screen appearances from Gethin Jones and Hollywood stars Ioan Gruffudd and Matthew Rhys.
To honour the late Ray Gravell a tribute concert staged in his name ‘Grav - Yma o Hyd' saw a whole host of Welsh stars pay tribute to the rugby legend. The line-up included many of Ray's favourite artists as well as old friends who were invited to share their stories and fondest memories. The audience were encouraged to wear red as the concert celebrated his life with performances from Bryn Fon, Tara Bethan, Gwyneth Glyn, Rhys ap William and the original cast of Tair Chwaer. Caryl Parry Jones performed the specially commissioned song, West is Best, accompanied by all the choirs from the Codi Canu series and rugby stars took to the stage as part of the splendid finale.

Last but by no means least, the highly acclaimed 'C Ffactor' was the third gala concert to be staged by Stifyn Parri and produced by Mr Producer. The sell-out concert was hosted by presenter Heledd Cynwal and saw the all-star cast of Connie Fisher, Cerys Matthews, Shan Cothi, Catrin Finch, Caryl Parry Jones and Cantorion (also known as Only Men Aloud) all take to the stage as part of a musical extravaganza.
